Baptism

If you’ve never acknowledged Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we would love for you to take that vital step. And you can do it by following a simple practice laid out in the Bible.

In the Book of Acts, Chapter 2, Verses 37-38, a group of people recognize that they are separated from God because of their sinful attitudes and actions. They ask the Apostle Peter, one of Jesus’ original 12 disciples, what they should do to make this right. Peter tells them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.”

This is how we take our first step of faith: we submit to baptism by being immersed in water. It is a highly symbolic and deeply spiritual moment, as we go down into the water and then come out again. Through our baptism, we are “washed clean”. We “die” to our past and we are “resurrected” into a fresh start with God.

If you would like to become a member, we would love for you to join our church family. Please set up a time to meet so we can walk through the beliefs and values of the church, and answer any questions you have.  Membership is open to everyone who is a committed follower of Jesus.
